Flying from a small plane, George B. Barber would take photographs of US and foreign Navy ships to sell to the crew when they arrived in port. Operating between San Diego, Long Beach, and occasionally traveling to Pearl Harbor, San Francisco and other ports of call. He has logged over 1,000 hours flying and taken over 3,000 photos. George recently passed earlier this year in 2018 soon after turning 94 years old.
